Still in Texas!

It's been a great time w great friends,enjoying all Texas has to offer! We went Zip Lining today, it was sooooo much fun! The 4th longest line in our country

Although I am not really up to par on "#" (hashtags) , I am aware enough to be able to label one myself.
As I travel the country I am becoming more and more aware of how spoiled we are as New Yorkers. I don't mean that negatively, I mean it like we have so much available to us at our fingertips, such a variety of culture, and really smart ideas that have not met the rest of the country yet...if ever.

I hope everyone finds it as entertaining as I do!!

Ability to shop at bargain prices...Jackson, WY has 2 options:
the local market or Kmart....#spoiledNYer

Not only do we have pizza by the slice, but it's good...the best pizza, as told by those living in these other states, is Dominos...blech #spoiledNYer

Carvel....need I say more???? Dairy Queen is not even

Sprinkles on your cone...Apparently I can have sprinkles, but only if I get my ice cream in a cup...I considered teaching Bonny at the local DQ how to roll a cone in sprinkles...#

Up to date hairstyles...hmmm being a hairdresser, this one really gets me...every woman seems to think those episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210 (the original) and Designing Women they are watching are new, and not in repeated syndication, therefore still trying to emulate the style of the times...#thank God I'm a spoiledNYer

Less than a 2 hour drive to Target/Wal-Mart...yes, it's true, before they even cross state borders to get to these stores, I could've already got to both, compared prices, and then opted to still go to the Christmas Tree Shop for a better deal#

Gas that pumps faster than we talk...yes, even the gas pumps that slow out of the tri-state area...#spoiledNYer

Paying for gas without having to stare at the heads of animals...nevermind the attendant with his hunting jacket on and watching 'The Deer Hunter'...needless to say, I was hesitant to use the bathroom...#scary

Full Service Car Wash...apparently not a common thread outside of NY...most car wash's are completely self-serve, and the ones labeled "Full Serve" just means you pay $10 to sit in your car while it goes through the automated thing for the outside, only to have to do the whole inside yourself...#spoiledNYer

Garlic...do other nationalities not use such a delicacy??? Why is it so hard to find food with garlic in it?? And while I'm on that topic, how about some real Italian food?? When I get home I plan on a shmorgisboard (I have NO idea how to spell that) of garlic cloved Italian meals...totally open to ALL invites...#deprivedNYer
